Hey Eric,

I remember this first being posted and enjoyed it then. I still find this useful and have added to my list of things to keep checking on and reminding myself of. Life changing habits don't have to be complicate, just consistent.

Ialso like it because it is so inline with my own thoughts and practices although I am more familair with Tarot and my practice is an odd mix of qi gong, yoga, meditation, Dance of Shiva and now Aikido. Perhaps too much!

Interesting to see so much information on one site dedicated to Chinese medicine and alternative treatments. The Yin and the Yang, Tarot alnd Yijing can be be very powerful.

I was very interested in your comments about using the Yijing (and/or Tarot) for focussing your intuition and self guidance, since, to me, this is the real power of these wonderful vehicles.

I must have a look at the Stephen Karcher Yijing. Thank you for the recommendation

Awesome tips, great work... It's my first time @ this blog and I really enjoyed your articles, I have been much more interested in alternative medicine because of the negative effects of the pills... Thanks

That tea sounds really great, I will have to try it out soon. Tip #7 is great and something everyone could benefit from thinking about.

I've learned so much about Chinese medicine from your site. I'm a nursing assistant, and I've seen how traditional medical care can benefit and heal people. However, I am interested in many new age methods that seem to work for so many people.

I am not really very well introduced in all the aspects of Chinese medicine, but I am confident its principles are well founded and compatible with our own spirituality.
From all the habits above, I like most your second point. From time to time I consult the tarot, and long time ago I got interested into Yijing, but never really fully explored its capabilities. Nevertheless, the way of contemplation you describe is exactly the way I believe is proper to contact and consult our inner being.

Eric,

Maybe you could help me - my situation is this, ok first off I'm getting on in my years but not willing to admit I'm getting old. My energy level is very low and I seem to be tired all the time no matter what. Also add to that I've not been sleeping well.

Next would be the fact that we don't have any kind of Chinese stores in our small town. We have a 'health food' store but it tends to have a lot of bottled herbs and such but nothing in the way of 'fresh' or organic goods.

Lastly, my finacial situation is lets say BAD so don't have a lot of money to spend.

Would you have any suggestions where I might start on a low budget but still be able to see some results?

I've never really paid much attention to Chinese medicine but have for years known there were many great benifits.

After reading several of your posts I am going to purue this avenue further as my health has not been the greatest lately and I have never been a fan of 'modern' medicine.

Thank you so much for the helpful information you've provided here.
