		<description>I don&#039;t think there is any negative connotation with the ideas of Chinese medicine in the UK.  The only problem might be the unfortunate preconception of some that it contains body parts of numerous endangered animals.  There are Chinese herbalists on several high streets and malls that I visit. 

I do my shiatsu training in Brighton which is a very open minded, cosmopolitan city and any healing modality is practised.  I live and practise in Worthing which is very conservative.  But I get a good response to the idea of shiatsu and Ki but I do temper my language.  The hippy word might come up in a Worthing conversation.</description>
