I have long suffered from a connective tissue disorder. None of the modern medicine I tried fully relieved my pain. After trying some acupuncture sessions and completely stopping my previous medications, I find myself feeling stronger and my pains going away. I feel that a large part of all healing is mental, so maybe it was just the hope that this new medicine would help, or maybe it really did. Either way I am satisfied and hope to continue learning about chinese medicines.

I just listened to the first part, because I like to learn about many things. What I learned from the first part was that I should spend more time focusing than try and know a little about a lot of things. When he mentioned just focusing on three things would keep you busy for 30 or 40 years it made me realize I need to find just a few things and instead of spending a week learning them spend years learning them.

Your approach to Classical Chinese Medicine with the mindset (albeit open minded) of your Western training allows the American such as myself to follow an easier pathway to forming an opinion.

You yourself bring your implicit knowledge and apply it to your examination of that strictly medical approach referred to. The educated glimpse through your perspective allows one to appreciate the enormity of all we hope to comprehend.
