Hi, is it true that if you apply the needle on the correct or exact position, your patient will not get bruise?

I went through a few acupuncture sessions previously. Sometimes, I have more bruises, sometimes less, and when I was lucky, none. One physician told me it is norm to get bruise while another said if the angle & position are correct, bruise should not happen.

Thanks.

AirJordan,

Perhaps. I feel that I intuitively connect with the patients now, but as I become more technically proficient I'm sure that connection will increase. But, it's also a matter of self cultivation. The more deeply I go into my personal practice, the easier that kind of connection becomes. But, yes, I do believe that is the eventual goal.

Thanks for your comment!

Do you feel that as you learn the technical acupuncture points - when proficient - you'll cross an invisible line over to intuitively connecting with your patient? This seems to be the eventual goal as you are directed to do so by your current teachers.
